How to read a Matka result
- Panel (Patti / Panna) — a three-digit number such as 390. The digits are always written in rising order, and 0 is treated as the biggest digit.
- Ank — the last digit of the sum of the panel's digits. For 390: 3 + 9 + 0 = 12, so the ank is 2.
- Jodi — the open ank and the close ank side by side. In 390-29-289 the jodi is 29.
- Half result — when only the open is declared, the result shows like 245-1 until the close comes.
